Central Jersey Hawks - Mission Statement

The Central Jersey Hawks Basketball Club is committed to offer both male and female student athletes the opportunity to improve their basketball skills at a higher level of competitiveness. The CJ Hawks will strive to develop the total player while stressing academics, responsibility, strength of character, sportsmanship and fair play.

The Central Jersey Hawks will continue to provide to its student athletes the platform to showcase their basketball skills at national and regional tournaments, which include AAU and other prestigious tournaments throughout the country.

The CJ Hawk Club will also provide its student athletes the very best coaching by utilizing the resources of the CJ Hawks and its connection with the local high school coaches and the CJ Hawk NCAA college alumni players. We will also offer coaching clinics from top College and High School coaches.

The Central Jersey Hawks Basketball Club is registered with the Amateur Atheletic Union (AAU) as part of the New Jersey Association. The CJ Hawks are also members of the Kid Safe program wherein every coach is fingerprinted and processed through the NJ State Police and FBI.

Every team in the Central Jersey Hawks Basketball club is required by our by-laws to submit to the organization and to every player's parent/guardian, a complete team financial statement for the period from 9/1/2003 to 8/31/2004. if you have not received such a statement, please contact one of the officers of the Central Jersey Hawks Basketball Club.

All coaches are required to be certified by the Kid Safe® program in order to coach in our organization. The Kid Safe® program fingerprints each coach and does a criminal check through the records of the NJ State Police and FBI.
