2010 Shore Shootout Tournament Rules

 General Rules

Girls will play NCAA college rules with the following exceptions:

16 Minute Halves, stopped time- all ages
- 14 minute halves at site director’s discretion for 9-11U
Clock runs the last 5 minutes of game if 20 or greater lead
3 Full Time Outs
No 30 Second Shot Clock
10-Second back court
5-Second on held ball and closely guarded
1st Overtime- 2 minutes
2nd Overtime- 1 minute
3rd Overtime- Sudden Death
No additional time outs in OT
6 Personal Fouls per player
1 and 1 on the 10th team foul, no double bonus
On the Release except for Shooter on the Hit

Any player thrown out for fighting is expelled from the tournament.
Any coach that is ejected and/or receives 2 technical fouls in a game is suspended for the next game.
Coaches are responsible for the behavior of the players, parents, and fans.
No abuse of referees, coaches, parents, fans or tournament officials will be tolerated.
