2011 Shore Shootout Tournament Rules

8th grade/14U Boys
• 16 minute halves – Stopped Clock
• 3 minute halftime
• Timeouts – 3 full per game (Overtime includes 1 additional time out)
• 3 mins for 1st OT, 2 mins for 2nd OT, sudden death for 3rd OT
• NJ High School rules apply except as modified here
• 1-and-1 on 10 fouls
• No pressing in the back court with a 25 point lead
• If winning by more than 20 points with five minutes to go, clock will run unless the lead drops to below 20 pts
• 6 personal fouls per player
• Any player or coach who receives 2 technical fouls will have at least a 1 game suspension, and at the discretion of the site director may be expelled from the tournament
• A forfeit will occur if a team is more than 10 minutes late
• Teams need 5 players to start game
• Teams advance to championship based on overall record, then head-to-head record, then point differential (15 pt per game max), then fewest points allowed.
